Why does the WLAN connection of the doorbell not work?

The doorbell supports only 2.4 GHz WLAN. Try to turn off other WLAN bands at home, reduce the devices connected to the router and reduce the distance between the doorbell and the router.

Why can't I connect the doorbell with Alexa?

Open the EZVIZ app and go to "Device Settings - Image Encryption", then disable "Image Encryption". Because Alexa cannot read an encrypted video stream.

Why is there a delay in the PIR detection function?

Do not always use the doorbell on the mains, as the heat during charging will affect the PIR function. Please disconnect the screen from the camera and connect it to the power outlet via power adapter for charging.

Do I need to drill a hole in the door to install this doorbell?

Yes. Please make sure that the diameter of the peephole is 16.5 to 50mm and the door thickness is 35 to 105mm.

Why the peephole camera only supports 218GB local storage instead of 512GB?

Please update the firmware of the device via the EZVIZ APP. CP4 supports microSD card up to 512 GB with V5.3.3 build 230110 or higher firmware versions; Up to 256 GB with lower firmware versions.
